Eliminated Round 3 Match 4 - Mixmaster
Simply put, if I was strictly breeding for a sporthorse foal and not concerned about racing, Mixmaster would be my #1 pick hands down, no questions asked. With his pedigree could he possibly also give me a talented racehorse? Very possible, but it's so hard to tell since he didn't do much at the track himself and doesn't have enough horses of racing age yet to really make a determination. Since this will also be Freja's first foal, it will also be best for me to choose a more seasoned sire, but in person (and heck in pictures too) this guy is STUNNING! Fun personality, lots of bone, muscle for days, a nice big loose walk...just not enough to say about this stallion, and the fact that he made it so far proves that. In this round I introduced racing stats, and even with very little racing credentials he still managed to get 36% of the votes simply based on his beautiful conformation. And this is one I will DEFINITELY be keeping on my list for future years if I don't end up breaking down and just going for a sporthorse foal after all this year.
